STRUCC provides a donated space for GCS’s Advanced Arts for the Community and Yogability activities.
The Advanced Arts class involves arts, crafts, and activities that benefit and give back to the community. GCS individuals are able to create and express themselves in different ways while making donatable craft projects so that they can be able to experience the feeling of giving back. Benefits include self-expression, stress reduction, socialization, gross and fine motor coordination, and charitability.
Yogabilities is a form of Yoga geared for individuals with disabilities. Yogabilities meets the individual at their current level of functioning and moves forward towards achievable goals utilizing a team approach. Benefits include increased balance, strength, flexibility, range of motion, improved digestion & elimination, and stress reduction.
Gene Cook Supports, LLC is a locally owned and operated provider of waiver-funded home and community based services in Allegheny, Fayette, Washington and Westmoreland Counties. Their services are offered face to face in the home and community to support individuals with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities.

Medical Debt Relief - For the 2021 season of lent, in partnership with the Penn West Conference, we raised over $300 to help families burdened by medical debt in Southwest PA. Together our goal is to wipe out $15000 work of medical debt in our area!
Make a Joyful Noise - We will be launching a free music program for youth in the summer of 2021. Stay tuned!

When the late Reverend Jeff Welsh was pastor, STRUCC supported Camp Living Waters, an outdoor ministry that provides youth (kindergarten through high school), families, and other organizations a place for spiritual and communal growth. Our church remains committed to the programs offered at Camp Living Waters. There are always scholarship available to attend. Please visit their website for more info.
Looking to the future, with Pastor TJ's background in education and having started a non-profit for children in Apollo, we are currently discerning what we may offer to the youth here in Scottdale. Pastor TJ is interested in building a ministry around creativity, self expression, art, and music. Make a Joyful Noise is a music program that we will be launching in the summer of 2021, stay tuned!

What better way to fellowship with other Christians and community members in churches across our area than with a little healthy competition? To learn more about the league, click here.
In partnership with Gene Cook Supports LLC, we have a food pantry located outside of our front doors. The pantry is restocked regularly by the community and church. Anyone in need may take what they want and anyone in abundance may leave what they can.
Our church is also an active participant in the Scottdale Area Association of Churches (SAAC) which supports our local food bank in addition to other community missions and outreach. SAAC is a collaboration of pastors and lay leaders from various churches in Scottdale and the surrounding area. Check back for updates on SAAC, a website will be launched soon!
